Cactuses (Cactaceae) is a family of flowering plants whose stems are succulent and the leaves are shaped like thorns.

Although cactus is not a genus name, it is the common name given to all flowering plants that have fleshy, flattened and juicy stems that make up the family of cactus, and their leaves are shaped like thorns.

Usually common in deserts and tropics. Succulent stems also perform the assimilation task.

Saguaro, grown in the desert, is one of the largest cacti. Adults usually reach 12 meters in height, rarely more than 15 meters.

Cacti are plants that do not require much rainfall and water. They usually grow in deserts and hot climates. Its roots are very long and thick. These features and the thorn shape of the leaves distinguish them from other plants. If the width and length of the cacti are well fed, they are quite long and thick. While the spines of some cacti can be poisonous, when they sink into the skin anyway, they are very painful due to their thin spines and are difficult to remove.
